Simon Young is currently the Executive Chef at Ray's Restaurants, a position held since 2021. With a diverse culinary background, Simon previously worked as Executive Chef at several establishments, including The Pub, Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill, and Fifth Group Restaurants. Simon also served as Head Chef at La Trattoria from 2011 to 2013 and held the role of Executive Chef at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites for a year. Simon earned a culinary degree from CPIT (Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology) after attending St Bede's College.
