Henrik Friberger

Henrik Friberger started their career in 1997 at St Jude Medical AB, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, team leader, and project manager. In 2001, they joined RaySearch Laboratories as a Senior Software Developer, responsible for designing and implementing advanced algorithms in the field of radiation therapy. Henrik later became the Manager of the Algorithm Group and Product Manager, and eventually the Director of Development. In their current role, Henrik leads a team of 100+ developers and staff members in enhancing RayStation, a treatment planning system for radiation therapy clinics. Henrik is also involved in developing RayCare, an oncology information system that aims to improve clinic work and facilitate more efficient treatments.

Henrik Friberger completed their MSc in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, from 1992 to 1997. In 1996, they briefly attended Karolinska Institutet, focusing on Physiology, although no degree was mentioned. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1990, Henrik attended Åva Gymnasium, specializing in Natural Sciences.
