Lauren Szott

Lauren Szott is a skilled engineer with a background in materials and process engineering, currently serving as a Failure Analysis Engineer at Raytheon Technologies since January 2023. In this role, Lauren supports a non-metallics test lab by conducting material preparation and testing for shelf life extension and incoming material verification. Prior experience includes working as a Materials and Process Engineer at Raytheon Intelligence & Space, where Lauren focused on manufacturing support and materials characterization in the defense industry. Lauren has also completed engineering internships at the Composite Materials Technology Center and Trostel Ltd, concentrating on property testing, material analysis, and research and development projects. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Composite Materials Engineering from Winona State University, earned in 2017.
