Robert O. Work

Mr. Work was elected to the Board of Directors on August 14, 2017. He served as Deputy Secretary of Defense from 2014 until July 2017. Mr. Work served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Center for a New American Security from 2013 to 2014, Under Secretary of the Navy from 2009 to 2013, and Vice President for Strategic Studies at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments (CSBA) from 2006 to 2009. Mr. Work joined CSBA in 2002 as a Senior Fellow, after a 27-year career in the U.S. Marine Corps which culminated in his service as Military Assistant and Senior Aide to the Secretary of the Navy.
