James Morris

James Morris is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as Programme Engineering Manager at Raytheon UK since May 2022. In this role, James leads programmes focused on power electronics, directed energy weapons, and weapons systems integration, while also overseeing functional management and a team of engineers. Prior to this, James was Principal Laser Engineer at Leonardo from November 2019 to May 2022, where responsibilities included leading the development of kW-class fibre lasers. James's earlier career includes a role as a Researcher in Lasers and Laser Applications at FRAUNHOFER UK RESEARCH LIMITED, managing comprehensive R&D projects in Photonics.
