Rich Gates

Rich Gates has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations. Rich started their career as an Engineering Officer in the Royal Air Force (RAF) in 1998 and eventually became the Head of Aircraft Engineering, leading a team of 200 specialists. In 2012, they joined NATO as an Information and Planning Specialist, providing strategic planning recommendations and crisis response coordination. In 2013, Gates joined the Ministry of Defence Saudi Armed Forces Projects as a Specialist Consultant, monitoring complex delivery programs and representing the customer to maximize investment in UK companies. Since 2016, they have been working at Raytheon UK, where they have held various positions including Program Manager, Senior Program Manager, and Business Area Head for UK Programmes. Currently, Gates holds the position of Business Area Head at Raytheon UK.

Rich Gates completed an Advanced Management Achievement Course in Strategic Direction and Leadership at Alliance Manchester Business School in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Aeromechanical Systems Engineering from Cranfield University, graduating in 1998.
