Richard Caudle's work experience began in 1983 at Kraft General Foods, where they served as the Director of Marketing for Celestial Seasonings. Richard successfully turned around the declining business and increased sales by 43%, establishing industry leadership. From 1989 to 1991, Caudle worked as the VP of Sales & Marketing at Ralston Purina's Keystone Resort. Richard led the resort to record sales and profits, raising $30 million for expansion and restructuring ownership.
From 1991 to 1994, Caudle worked as the Vice President of the Strategic Sales & Marketing Group at Garrison-Lontine Advertising. Richard established and led the strategic sales and marketing consulting practice area, selling $6 million in billings in the first year and increasing client sales through innovative plans and programs.
Caudle then joined US WEST Media Group, where they served as the Head of Business Development from 1994 to 1996. Richard led national sales and business development initiatives, forming advertising agreements with prominent companies such as Chili's, Macaroni Grill, Lexus, and Pizza Hut.
In 1996, Caudle became the VP of Sales, Business Development & Marketing at Jones International, Jones Cyber Solutions. Richard played a crucial role in building the software company's sales from $0 to $12 million in the first year and launching business operations in Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.
Caudle served as the VP of Business Development at Exodus Communications from 1999 to 2001. During their time there, they contributed to the successful acquisition of the company by Savvis. Richard then joined Vericept in 2001 as the VP of Business Development, where they led OEM sales, international distribution, and developed partnerships and alliances. Richard repositioned the company, enabling entry into high growth network security and information security markets.
From 2003 to 2009, Caudle worked as the Principal at Viewpoint Marketing, providing sales, business development, marketing, and strategic planning services to increase business value for CEOs. Richard assisted eyeris in identifying new markets for its AI platform and solutions, solving complex problems in transportation, telecom, and financial services.
Caudle joined DaVita Inc. in 2009 as part of the Business Development team. Richard created and led a team of AI experts, MDs, and PhDs in developing and validating the most advanced Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) AI progression model/algorithm. Richard also launched an electronic healthcare records system for use by nephrologists, implementing the CKD predictive progression model into it.
Most recently, Caudle has been serving as the Chief Customer Officer at Razorthink Inc. since 2019. Richard helps companies increase sales and profits through their AI demand forecasting and planning SaaS system, powered by artificial intelligence. The system accurately forecasts sales demand and provides explanations for each product's forecast, even for new products without historical data.
Richard Caudle holds an MBA degree in Marketing & International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Prior to that, they obtained a BA with Honors in Plan II from The University of Texas at Austin. In 1971, Richard attended Malay College for a brief period in the Lower 6th Form, though they did not receive a degree from this institution.
