Raivo Raudzeps

Raivo Raudzeps is an experienced legal professional with a career spanning over two decades in various legal roles. Currently serving as the Head of the Legal Department at RB Rail AS for Rail Baltica since March 2023, Raivo previously held the position of Deputy Head of Legal Department (Claims and Litigations). Prior experience includes over thirteen years as an Attorney-at-law at Sorainen, where Raivo led the Public Procurement and Public Projects sub-group. Additionally, Raivo worked at the Ministry of Defence of Latvia for over thirteen years, progressing from Senior Desk Officer to Director of the Legal Department, offering legal advice, drafting laws and treaties, and representing the Ministry in legal proceedings. Raivo's academic qualifications include a Master of International and European Law from Riga Graduate School of Law, a Certificate in Security Policy from the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, and a qualification of a lawyer from the University of Latvia.
