Mark Alderson

Mark Alderson is an experienced Procurement Director with a robust background in managing global procurement operations across multiple industries. Currently at RB since July 2015, Alderson oversees £550m in annual spend and has achieved significant annual savings between £30m and £40m. Key accomplishments include the negotiation and management of 150 office leases worldwide, the sale of over 20 properties totaling more than £200m, and the establishment of comprehensive procurement strategies for HR, travel, employee health, and facilities management. Prior to RB, Alderson held various roles including Owner/Director of TCO Procurement Ltd and Group Procurement Director at DS Smith Packaging. With a strong foundation in cost reduction, supply chain management, and strategic sourcing, Alderson has demonstrated leadership in transforming procurement processes and implementing successful strategies across multiple organizations. Alderson’s educational achievements include studies at the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
