Erik Grier has extensive work experience in the technology sector, particularly in the banking industry. Erik started their career at WaMu Investments, Inc. in 2007 as a Senior Technology Group Manager. Erik then joined JPMorgan Chase in 1999 and held various roles, including Senior Technology Director and Financial Planning & Performance Manager. At JPMorgan Chase, Erik was responsible for application development, database administration, infrastructure, and production support for multiple business units. Erik also played a crucial role in the integration of systems and processes after the acquisition of Washington Mutual Bank. In 2011, Erik joined Altura Credit Union as the Vice President of Technology, where they were responsible for all technology aspects, including core processing systems and security administration. In 2016, they joined Royal Business Bank as the SVP/Chief Information Officer, overseeing all bank technology and strategic planning. Throughout their career, Erik has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in developing and managing IT strategic plans, budgets, and programs to achieve organizational goals.

Erik Grier obtained their MBA in Business Management from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. Erik pursued this degree from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics, earning a BA in Finance from 1989 to 1992.
