Gohar Ahmed

Gohar Ahmed, CPA has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Gohar started their career as a Tax Intern at PwC in 2012. Afterwards, they joined PwC as an Experienced Tax Associate, where they handled tax compliance and consulting engagements for various clients. Gohar also supervised and trained junior associates, conducted detailed reviews of tax projects, and researched tax issues.

In 2015, Gohar joined Opus Bank as an Internal Auditor. Gohar'sresponsibilities included performing tests of internal controls, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and executing processes under the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance testing program.

Gohar then moved to Banc of California in 2017 as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, where they contributed to financial reporting activities.

Currently, Gohar is working at Royal Business Bank, starting as an AVP Financial Reporting Officer in 2019 and later promoted to a VP Financial Reporting Officer in February 2022.

Gohar Ahmed, CPA, completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Accounting from UC Irvine, attending from 2009 to 2013. Prior to attending UC Irvine, Gohar Ahmed attended Irvine High School from 2005 to 2009. In 2015, Gohar Ahmed obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the California Board of Accountancy.
