Jennifer Valdes-Skogen

Jennifer Valdes-Skogen has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple roles in various companies.

Jennifer started their career as a Marketing & Promotions Intern at Sony BMG Latin in 2006, where they developed mailing lists and distributed press kits for Latin albums and artists.

In 2007, they became a Communications Coordinator at the University of Florida College of Fine Arts, leading publicity and communication plans for various events and writing newsletters and articles.

From 2005 to 2007, Jennifer worked as an Administrative Assistant III at the Cornell University Latin American Studies Program, organizing seminars and conferences and managing a lending library.

In 2009, they joined rbb Public Relations as an Account Executive, focusing on proactive and reactive media relations in the travel, entertainment, sports, and nonprofit industries.

Jennifer then moved on to Harrison & Shriftman in 2012, where they served as an Account Supervisor.

Jennifer joined PRSA Miami Chapter in 2018 as the President, a role they held until the end of the year.

Currently, they are working at rbb Communications, starting in 2015 as an Account Director and later moving up to the position of Senior Account Director. In 2022, they became the Vice President.

Jennifer Valdes-Skogen completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Communication at Cornell University from 2004 to 2007. Jennifer then pursued a Master of Arts in Mass Communication, specializing in Public Relations, at the University of Florida from 2007 to 2009. Prior to their university education, Jennifer attended Miami Sunset Senior High from 1999 to 2003. No degree or field of study was specified for their high school education.
