Maite Velez-Couto

Maite Velez-Couto has extensive work experience in the field of communications. Maite started their career as an Assistant Account Executive at TARA, Ink. in 2004 and worked there until 2006. Following this, they joined rbb Communications in 2006 as a Senior Account Executive. Maite was promoted to Account Director in 2010, where they focused on developing and executing communication programs for consumer brands, particularly in the travel and food & beverage industries. In 2012, Velez-Couto became a Vice President and Partner at rbb Communications, taking on client and account management responsibilities for multiple accounts. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Vice President and Partner at the same company. Throughout their career, Velez-Couto has demonstrated expertise in campaign strategy development and execution, media relations, and effective resource allocation.

Maite Velez-Couto completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Miami, wherein they studied from 1996 to 2001. Following this, they pursued another Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, this time in Humanities/Humanistic Studies, from Florida International University for the duration of 2001 to 2003.
