Andrew Holmes has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Andrew started their career as a Contract Developer at Dunfermline Building Society in 2004, where they developed a ReportNet report package for archived data retrieval and also worked on designing the look and feel template and programming SQL scripts and PL/SQL packages. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Developer at Mellon Analytical Solutions. At Barclays Capital, they served as an Analyst Developer from 2007 to 2011 and was involved in various projects such as implementing external code validation, designing a fuzzy string matching tool, and building a data validation and migration solution. Since 2011, they have been working at BlueBay Asset Management, initially as an IT Developer, then as an IT Manager, and currently as the Head of Data Development.
Andrew Holmes attended Merchiston Castle School from 1997 to 2000 and completed their A Levels in Physics, Computer Science, and Maths. Andrew then pursued a degree in Computer Science at The University of Edinburgh from 1999 to 2004, graduating with a 2.1 (Hons) BEng.
