Lawrence Akers

Lawrence Akers is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and asset management. Currently serving as the Corporate Accounting Manager at BlueBay Asset Management since March 2016, Lawrence previously held various roles at GFI Group from June 2006 to March 2016, including Financial and Trade Accountant and Accounts Payable Supervisor. Earlier experience includes the position of Accounts Payable Clerk at esure. Lawrence holds an ACMA and CGMA from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, earned between 2007 and 2011, and a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Kingston University, completed in 2004.
