Andrey Tsykunov

Andrey Tsykunov is an experienced machine learning engineer with a strong background in financial technology. Currently serving as Staff ML Engineer and ML Engineering Lead at Borealis AI since July 2019, Andrey has contributed to various projects including Knowledge AI for information retrieval, Horizon for ML model serving, and Sirius for portfolio optimization. Prior to this role, Andrey held the position of Engineering Lead (Vice President) at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, overseeing a distributed application suite for managing equity parameters globally. Andrey's career also includes significant software development roles at Goldman Sachs, CQG, and Dell, along with a solid foundation in computer engineering from Penza State University.
