Keyi Tang

Keyi Tang is a Senior Research Engineer at Borealis AI, specializing in causal machine learning for data-driven decision making since January 2020. Prior experience includes a role as an Applied Scientist in the Spoken Language Understanding team at Amazon Alexa, and as a Data Scientist and NLP Engineer at ForeSee, where state-of-the-art deep learning models for natural language understanding were prototyped. Keyi Tang began a research career as a Research Assistant in the Human Communication Technology Lab at the University of British Columbia, contributing to the development of personalized computational biomechanical models, and served as a teaching assistant for various engineering courses. Educational credentials include a Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
