Muhammed Safa

Muhammed Safa is an experienced professional in machine learning and software development, currently serving as the ML Engineering Lead at Borealis AI since May 2020. Prior roles at Borealis AI included Senior Machine Learning Software Developer and Machine Learning Software Developer. From June 2014 to May 2020, Muhammed worked as a Lead Software Developer at Current, powered by GE, on the Intelligent Devices team, focusing on intelligent environment offerings. Muhammed began at GE in April 2011 as part of the Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP), completing a two-year rotational program that provided diverse technical training and practical experience in GE Lighting. Initial experience includes a Design Engineering Intern role where Muhammed conducted testing on power supplies and fixtures. Muhammed holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, obtained between 2009 and 2011.
