Xiangyu S.

Xiangyu (Shawn) S. is currently serving as a Machine Learning Researcher at Borealis AI, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this, Xiangyu worked as a Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University from September 2019 to December 2023 and completed an internship at Borealis AI as a Machine Learning Research Intern from May 2023 to August 2023. Early career experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Simba Technologies (now Magnitude Simba) from August 2015 to December 2017. Xiangyu is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at Simon Fraser University, with an expected graduation date in April 2024, and previously obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution in 2015.
