Akilesh Eswaran

Akilesh Eswaran serves as the EMEA Head of Equity Trading and Global Head of QISR at RBC Capital Markets since October 2019. Prior experience includes over 16 years at Deutsche Bank, where roles included Managing Director and Global Head of Quantitative Investment Strategies Trading and Fund Derivatives Trading, as well as leadership positions in Exotic Equity and Hybrid Derivative Trading and Equity and Hybrid derivatives structuring. Akilesh also worked as a Catastrophe Modeling Consultant at Willis Re from March 2002 to June 2003. Academic credentials consist of a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Quantitative Finance and an MA in Mathematics, both obtained from the University of Cambridge.
