Chris Thompson

Chris Thompson is an experienced professional in application support and operations, currently serving as the Global Equities Application Support Manager at RBC Capital Markets since March 2017. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Application Operations Manager (EMEA) at Macquarie Group from February 2015 to March 2017. Chris began a career in the financial technology sector at Fidessa, where roles included Trading Platform Consultant and Trading Support Analyst from July 2010 to February 2015. Earlier experience includes a position as a Ski Representative at TUI. Chris holds a BSc. Joint Honours degree in Computer Science and Business Management from Nottingham University Business School, completed in 2009.
