Haider Ali

Haider Ali is an experienced finance professional with over 18 years in the trading and algorithmic sectors. Since March 2012, Haider has served as Managing Director of Macro Trading at RBC Capital Markets, where responsibilities include heading US Treasury and Spot/EM FX Trading. Previously, Haider held positions as Director of Electronic Rates Trading and Vice President of Quant Trading/Microstructure Research at the same institution. Haider's career also includes a role at Quantitative Brokers focused on algorithmic model development for exchange-traded futures and an associate position at Banc of America Securities concentrating on market microstructure and statistical modeling. Haider Ali holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned in 2005.
