David Hannam

David Hannam is an experienced fundraising and communications professional currently serving as Head of Fundraising & Communications at Girls Friendly Society since March 2023. Previously, David worked as a Senior Bid Writer for RBLI and has been a Fundraising Consultant for Hackney Music Service since January 2000. David has also held leadership roles, including Head of Development at Group B Strep Support and Associate Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Media at Age UK East Sussex. Additionally, David contributed as a Fundraising Consultant for Patchwork Foundation, promoting democratic engagement among marginalized youth, and served as Head of Fundraising & Donor Relations at Mosaic, Business in the Community. David’s education was completed at Merchant Taylors from 1978 to 1983.
