Mark Crathern

Mark joined the NatWest Group in October 2019 to lead the Trustee and Depositary Services business in the UK and Luxembourg. Mark became a member of the Executive Committee of RBS International in August 2022.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector, Mark previously held the position of Global Head of Corporate Trust and Loan Agency at HSBC between 2010 and 2019.

Specialising in Capital Markets and Securities Services, Mark has extensive experience in securitisation, structured finance, project and export, leveraged and real estate finance in the European, US, Asia and Middle East markets.

Mark was a member of the HSBC Securities Services Executive Committee from 2011 until 2019 and was Co-Chair of the Fiduciary Risk Committee and the HSS Graduate programme during the same period. In addition, Mark served as a Board member of both the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association and the HSBC Corporate Trustee Company.
