Michael Brandt has a diverse and extensive work history. Michael is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of RC Mowers USA, a company focused on the design, manufacture, and sales of robotic mowing equipment. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Technical Development at Lockheed Martin's Lifeport division from 2010 to 2018. Before that, they were the Director of Operations and Technical Development at LifePort, Inc. from 2008 to 2010, and prior to that, they served as the Director of Engineering and Chief Engineer from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they have experience as the Founder and Owner of Protech Composites from 2007 to 2009, and as the President and Founder of Modern Brandt Aviation, a company that was later sold to Enflite, Inc. Michael also worked as a Project Engineer and Lead Engineer at Collins Aerospace Seating Systems Inc from 1999 to 2002, and as an Engineer at Raytheon Aircraft Company (Beech/Hawker) from 1996 to 1999. Overall, Michael Brandt has a strong background in technical development, operations, engineering, and entrepreneurship.
Michael Brandt completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Mechanics and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Michael then pursued a Masters of Business Administration at Wichita State University, where they studied from 1996 to 1999.
