Thobile Mthembu

Thobile Mthembu is an experienced leader in the agricultural sector with a focus on sustainable development and community empowerment. Currently serving as CEO of Cane Joint Ventures at RCL FOODS since April 2017, Thobile implements strategies for sustainable land reform and corporate social investment in key sugar milling areas. Prior experience includes managing stakeholder relations and enterprise development at Tsb Sugar (Pty) Ltd. from October 2014 to March 2017, and serving as a Development Practitioner with the RSA Government from July 2006 to September 2014, focusing on rural farming community development. Thobile's educational background includes a Master of Science in Agriculture and Development from the University of Reading and various degrees in agriculture and human resources from recognized institutions.
