Rick Pollack is a Managing Director based in RCLCO’s Washington, DC office where he focuses on the firm’s institutional clients. Rick has extensive experience advising clients on transaction structures, partner selection, negotiation strategies and deal closing, and post-closing asset management.

Since joining RCLCO, Rick has focused on the firm’s institutional accounts. His work has included the sourcing and underwriting of fund investments, programmatic joint venture relationships, and operating company investments. He has had a particular focus on residential investment opportunities, including conventional multifamily and student housing and is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) Emerging Leaders Committee.

Rick’s expertise includes developing plans to improve asset and portfolio performance and his efforts have helped to maximize development opportunities, increase operational efficiency, and drive additional asset and portfolio value.

Prior to joining RCLCO, Rick spent nine years with Jones Lang LaSalle’s Public Institutions group, focusing on developing and executing creative, cost-saving real estate solutions for local, state, and federal government organizations.

Rick holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
