Joel Hänel

Joel Hänel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joel currently holds the position of Hardware Development Engineer at RCO Security since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Etteplan as a Senior Electrical Engineer from August 2019 to January 2023, where they served as a senior consultant/contractor in the field of electronics engineering. Joel'sprevious assignments during this period included various projects. Before joining Etteplan, Joel worked as a Hardware Design Engineer at Dinbox from October 2016 to July 2019. Joel also has experience working at Ericsson as a Digital Design Engineer from August 2011 to October 2016, where they designed and verified parts of the Basebands units for Ericsson Radio System. Joel also has experience as a Process Operator at Silex Microsystems in 2010, a Machine Operator at SCA Hygiene Products in 2009 and 2007, and as a Warehouse Worker at Gekås Ullared AB from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, they completed a Degree Project in Embedded Systems as their Master's thesis at EC Instruments AB from January 2011 to June 2011.

Joel Hänel's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Falkenbergs Gymnasieskola and completed their secondary school education in Consumer Electronics in 2004. Joel then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Microelectronics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Joel Hänel obtained a certification in "Phase Locked Loops for Wireless Communication Systems" from CEI-Europe AB in April 2016.
