Catherine Rubbens is an experienced professional in project management and sustainable business practices, currently serving as Project Director for Better Mining at RCS Global Group since May 2023. Previous roles include Senior Partnerships Manager at The Fairtrade Foundation, where commercial partner strategies were developed for the Fairtrade Chocolate category, and Programme Manager at Bioregional, focusing on client account management and new business opportunities. Catherine has also held positions at VSO, AccountAbility, Radisson Hotel Group, CSR Europe, C21, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, and UNCTAD, contributing expertise in corporate social responsibility, stakeholder engagement, and environmental economics. Catherine holds a Master of Environmental Management from the University of Amsterdam and degrees in Economics from the University of Geneva.
