Charlie Bourne

Charlie Bourne has worked in the field of Counter-terrorism (CT) Exercises since 2000. From 2000 to 2003, they worked for USSOCOM in the OPERATIONS AND PLANS DIRECTORATE. In this role, they initiated USSOCOM's involvement and directed Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG) execution of multiple Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) CT Exercises (ABLE WARRIOR) and supported ELLIPSE/PN exercise series constructs. Charlie also managed USSOCOM's efforts to support Special Operations Forces (SOF) integration into Conventional Force (CF) Operations, Training and Exercises. From 2003 to 2005, they worked for J7 as USSOCOM. In this role, they provided Contract Program Management for CT Exercises, as well as supporting SOF integration into GCC/TSOC partner nation operations via Interagency (IA) Embassy Country Team training, education, and multi-national exercises. Charlie managed a growing pool of full-time employees and senior DOD and IA consultant personnel. Finally, from 2005 to present, Charlie Bourne has worked for RDR, Inc. as Program Manager. In this role, they have been a Senior Advisor for complex US Govt and DOD Counter-terrorism (CT) Exercises (National, Strategic and Operational levels).

Charlie Bourne attended the Army Command and General Staff College from 1990 to 1991, where they obtained a Master of Military Arts and Science (MMAS) in National Security Affairs. Charlie then attended The University of Kansas from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.
