Michael McLanahan

Michael McLanahan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michael started their career at Zurn Industries, LLC as an Engineer in 1987. Michael then moved on to LORD Corporation where they worked as a CAD Support Engineer from 1989 to 1993. Following that, they worked at Niagara Plastics Co as a Sr. Design Engineer from 1993 to 1997. At LORD Corporation, they held various positions including IT Project Manager, IT Manager - System Support, and Senior IT Manager - Global Infrastructure Development and Support from 1997 to 2015. McLanahan then joined Easter Seals UCP North Carolina & Virginia as the Director of IT and HIPAA Security Officer from 2016 to 2017. Currently, they are a Vice President of IT Business Solutions at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), where they previously held positions as Vice President of IT Infrastructure and Director of IT Infrastructure.

Michael McLanahan has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. Michael obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Gannon University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Michael further pursued their education at Gannon University and received a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) from 1995 to 2000.

In addition to their degrees, Michael McLanahan has also obtained certifications to enhance their expertise. In January 2017, they became a Certified HIPAA Privacy and Security Expert. More recently, in April 2022, they achieved the status of Certified Member (CM) from the AAAE (specific institution not mentioned).
