Carolina Silva

Carolina Silva has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Carolina recently joined Re-Leased as a Software Developer in June 2022. Prior to this, they attended the Enspiral Dev Academy, where they completed a 15-week full-stack software development course from November 2021 to March 2022.

Before pursuing a career in software development, Carolina worked at Ovation NZ Ltd from February 2019 to December 2021. During their time there, they held two roles. Carolina served as a Team Leader of Accounts Payable, overseeing compliance and continuous improvement in the department while managing a team of three. Additionally, they worked as an Administrator of the Livestock department, responsible for maintaining accurate information regarding lamb supplies and coordinating supplier payments.

Carolina's work experience also includes a position at Escape Travel Advisors as a Travel Consultant from January 2017 to August 2018. In this role, they created tailor-made itineraries for clients, booked accommodations, tours, flights, and ensured data security using various platforms.

Earlier in their career, Carolina had an internship at Escape Travel Advisors, where they provided back-office support for the sales sector from April 2016 to December 2016. Carolina also worked as a Cast Member at Walt Disney World from November 2015 to January 2016, handling logistics, cash, and stock control at a quick-service food and beverage restaurant.

Carolina's first professional role was as an English Language Teacher at Wizard, where they helped students of different age groups develop their English speaking, writing, and reading skills from August 2014 to November 2015. Carolina utilized the SOFIA platform to organize class materials.

Overall, Carolina Silva has gained experience in software development, team leadership, administration, travel consultancy, customer service, and teaching.

Carolina Silva pursued their education at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Tourism degree with a field of study in Turism. Furthermore, they enrolled at Dev Academy Aotearoa for the academic year 2021 to 2022, focusing on Software Development.
