Carol Yingpei Liu

Carol Yingpei Liu has extensive work experience in the field of software development and research in IT and telecommunications. Carol Yingpei worked as a Technical Lead for the Financial Services department at REA Group since January 2021. Prior to that, they held various positions at REA Group, including Lead Software Developer for New Homes, Commercial, and Spacely projects, where they led development teams in building and maintaining websites. Carol Yingpei also served as a Senior Software Developer and Software Developer at REA Group, contributing to the development and maintenance of multiple websites. Before joining REA Group, Carol worked at Telstra (Telecom Australia) Research Laboratories for more than a decade as a Research & Development Specialist, specializing in advanced IT and telecommunication technologies. In this role, they played a significant role in designing and prototyping the first-generation Telstra online billing system.

Carol Yingpei Liu attended Shen Zhen University from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Economics and Management with a focus on Industrial Economics and Business Management. Carol Yingpei then went on to study at Moorabbin Tafe College from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained an Associate Diploma of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Finally, they pursued further education at Monash University from 1993 to 1997 and earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electical and Computer System.
