Jason Mares

Jason Mares is an experienced professional in the banking and finance industry, currently serving as the State Manager for NSW/ACT at REA Group since February 2021. Prior to this role, Jason held similar positions at Mortgage Choice and La Trobe Financial, where responsibilities included leading operations and managing state-level banking strategies. With over three decades in the banking sector, Jason has worked in various capacities at ANZ, culminating in the Managing Director role for Corporate Banking Australia. Jason's extensive background includes senior executive roles, strategic oversight, and operational leadership across multiple financial sectors. Jason holds a Master's Degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
