Steve McInnes is an experienced product management professional with a strong background in leading product strategy and execution across various industries. Currently serving as Executive Manager of Product at REA Group since January 2017, Steve oversees the Audience tribe, focusing on enhancing the search and listings experience for web and app platforms, while also driving SEO performance to grow REA's consumer audience. Prior roles at REA Group include Head of Product for the Rent and Share portfolio and Senior Manager for Core Consumer Experience. Steve's earlier experience includes senior product management roles at Qantas and Lonely Planet, where responsibilities spanned hotel booking experiences and digital product strategy. Steve's career commenced at Hitachi Vantara, where foundational skills in business analysis and software engineering were developed. Steve holds dual bachelor's degrees in Commerce (Human Resources Management) and Computing from La Trobe University.
