Kirk Mittelman

Kirk Mittelman is an experienced EMS educator and clinical quality improvement coordinator currently serving with REACH Air Medical Services in Contra Costa County, California. Since March 2020, Kirk has worked closely with a dedicated team of EMTs and paramedic firefighters, enhancing emergency medical services for a diverse community. As the founder and program director of Mt Nebo Training since 1991, Kirk has developed programs for all levels of EMS training, first aid, and CPR in Provo, Utah. With a long-standing career in emergency services, Kirk has been a paramedic for Payson Fire/EMS since 1980, and previously held roles as a retired captain and EMS coordinator at Eagle Mountain Fire Department, as well as a senior patrolman with Provo City Police Department. Kirk holds a Master’s degree in Education from Utah State University and two degrees from Utah Valley University in Emergency Services Management and Fire Science.
