Leah Walters has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health therapy and clinical outreach. Leah started their career as a Mental Health Therapist at REACH Counseling in 2014, where they worked until 2016. In 2016, they joined Education Alternatives as the Director of Day Treatment, a role that they held until 2019. During this time, they also worked as a Mental Health Therapist at C. J. Hendry and Associates, Inc. In 2019, they returned to REACH Counseling as the Director of Clinical Outreach.
Leah Walters earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cleveland State University in 2013 and went on to obtain a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from the same institution in 2015. In August 2019, they obtained a certification as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor from the Counselor, Social Worker & MFT Board.

REACH Behavioral Health is a community mental health center comprised of compassionate, professionals providing hope, healing, wellness and integration of mind and body to children, families, and individuals through a continuum of services. REACH believes that wellness is a key part of recovery. Movements around the country increasingly focus on wellness education and promotion. The delivery of clinical services, coordination of care, prevention, and wellness services engage clients in improving their individual health and well-being. In addition, research has shown that culturally competent, recovery-oriented services that include the principles of trauma-informed care are the most effective treatment interventions.
