Rishin Banker

Rishin Banker currently serves as the Head of Product at Maven, where the focus is on creating a marketplace for live, online, cohort-based courses. In addition, Rishin is a Venture Scout at Reach Capital, specializing in early-stage investments in ed tech startups. Previously, Rishin held the position of Head of Product for B2B at Teachers Pay Teachers, the largest online marketplace for teachers' educational resources, from 2015 until the company's acquisition by IXL Learning in 2023. Rishin's earlier experience includes roles at Providence Equity Partners as Head of Business Development and Private Equity Associate, as well as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Rishin's career began as a Business Development Intern at Kurzweil Technologies and included serving as the Chief Investment Officer for the Nittany Lion Fund, a student-run investment fund. Rishin holds a B.S. in Finance with minors in Spanish and Economics from Penn State University, graduated from the Schreyer Honors College.
