Tony Wan

Tony Wan has a decade of work experience in various roles. In 2021, they joined Reach Capital as Head of Platform and Head of Investor Content. Prior to that, they were Co-Founder & Managing Editor at EdSurge from 2011 to 2021. Before that, they were Co-Founder at Luckybird Games in 2010 and Production Coordinator at Independent Institute in 2009. From 2007 to 2009, they were Editor at the Stanford Journal of East Asian Affairs.

Tony Wan obtained their Bachelor of Arts in History (with Honors) from UC San Diego in 2007, after studying there from 2003 to 2007. Tony then went on to pursue a Master of Arts in East Asian Studies from Stanford University, which they completed in 2009.
