Courtney Moxley

Courtney Moxley has a diverse work experience spanning from 2014 to 2023. Courtney currently works at Reach Digital Health, starting as a Project Manager in 2021 and later promoted to Senior Project Manager in 2023. Prior to that, they were employed at Lushomo from 2018 to 2021 as a Research & Communications Manager, responsible for overseeing product development and providing communication support to clients in various sectors. Before joining Lushomo, Courtney was self-employed in 2017 as a Data Analyst, where they analyzed quantitative data for researchers in ecological, molecular biology, and biomedical science fields. Courtney also worked as a Research Assistant at the South African National Biodiversity Institute in 2017, conducting statistical analysis and collaboratively publishing research papers. In 2016, Courtney held roles as a Junior Analyst at Eighty20, a Project Leader with International Student Volunteers, and a Researcher at the University of Exeter, where they analyzed and visualized data, collaborated on research papers, and attended conferences. In 2014, they worked as a Researcher at Pierre and Marie Curie University.

Courtney Moxley pursued their education in the field of Biological Sciences and Genetics. In 2010, they enrolled at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree. Courtney continued their academic journey at the University of Cape Town in 2013, completing a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Biology/Biological Sciences. Following this, Courtney attended Stellenbosch University from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Conservation Ecology.
