Barry Loveridge

Barry Loveridge has over 30 years of experience in engineering, having worked for a variety of companies. Barry'smost recent position was as Senior DC and Controls Engineer at Reach, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a System Engineer at AEye, Inc. from 2022 to 2023. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Principal Engineer, Electrical Engineering at Innovusion. Barry worked as a Senior Applications Engineer at Velodyne LiDAR, Inc. from 2016 to 2018. Barry was a Principal Electrical Engineer at Xicato from 2012 to 2016 and Principal Applications Engineer, Principal Product Engineer, and Staff Design Engineer at Cypress Semiconductor from 1995 to 2011. Barry started their career in 1988 as a Research Engineer at Thorn EMI Electronics. Overall, they have extensive experience in applications support, design and verification of analog and digital functional blocks, power electronic circuits, and more.

Barry Loveridge earned a BSc in Physics and Electrical Engineering from Brunel University London between 1984 and 1988. Barry went on to pursue further education at the same institution, achieving an MSc in Intelligent Systems from 1988 to 1991.
