Jannyda Sre

Jannyda Sre is a dedicated educator currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher at REACH Leadership STEAM Academy since August 2023. Jannyda gained valuable experience as an Elementary School Teacher at Scholarship Prep Public Schools from August 2021 to June 2023, and as a Corps Member for Teach For America between May 2020 and June 2023, where notable achievements included being selected from 45,000 applicants and participating in intensive training for teaching in under-resourced schools. Prior to these roles, Jannyda held various positions including Academic Tutor and Mentor Lead at The Youth and Family Club of Pomona Valley, Student Supervisor/Coordinator at UCLA Recreation, and collaborated on projects with organizations such as the Downtown Women's Action Coalition. Jannyda holds a Master's degree in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UCLA.
