Reach to Teach
Peter Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Peter started their career at EY as a Chartered Accountant in 1979 and later worked as a Financial Controller at Geo Management Limited from 1986 to 1989. Peter then joined Bell Atlantic Financial Limited as a Financial Controller from 1989 to 1992. Peter continued their career at Bain & Company as a Financial Controller from 1992 to 1999. Peter then joined Monitor Group as the Finance Director for Europe, MENA, Africa, and India from 1999 to 2013. Most recently, Peter served as the Chief Finance Officer and Principal Director of UK Operations and Finance at Reach to Teach, an international education charity, from 2013 to present. At Reach to Teach, they played a key role in leading the organization through a period of growth and managed large-scale school improvement programs in Gujarat.
Peter Thomas has a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in History from the University of Cambridge. Peter is also a Chartered Accountant from ICAEW.

Reach to Teach
Reach to Teach works in partnership with State Governments to strengthen teaching and learning outcomes and enhance teacher agency. Our work is based on learning garnered from extensive engagement at the community level for more than a decade. We create impact by using technology as appropriate to the context of our focus states and have a strong Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning framework allowing for concurrent course correction.
