Bala R. is currently working at Reach3 Insights as the Senior Vice President, leading the business for the APAC region. Bala'sexperience spans across different industries, including FMCG/CPG, services, and technology, with a specialized focus on using emergent research technology to gain insights from customers and consumers. Bala's expertise lies in research design and methodologies, including agile insight programs, insight communities, design thinking, and the application of advanced analytical techniques to business needs.
Before joining Reach3 Insights, Bala worked at Vision Critical as the Vice President of Research & Consulting - Global. During their time there, they led the research and consulting practice for the region and managed strategic global accounts with both local and remote team members. Prior to this role, Bala held the position of Vice President of Research & Consulting - APAC at Vision Critical.
Bala's earlier work experience includes positions at Colmar Brunton as an Account Director, where they worked from 2008 to 2010. Before that, they were a self-employed qualitative research consultant, owning their own business for a brief period in 2008. Bala worked as a Consultant at The Leading Edge from 2005 to 2008 and as an Account Manager at TNS from 2002 to 2005. Bala started their career as an Assistant Research Manager at Nielsen from 2001 to 2002 and as a Project Manager at Indica Research Pvt Ltd from 1999 to 2001.
Bala R. completed their education at Rizvi Academy of Management from 1994 to 1996, earning a PGDBM (MBA) degree with a field of study in Market Research. In addition, they obtained a certification in Learning GDPR from LinkedIn in June 2018.
