Tony Hahn

Tony Hahn is an experienced library professional currently serving as the User Experience Coordinator at the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) since January 2021. Prior to this role, Tony managed a team at the Geneva Public Library District focusing on technology access and program innovation. Tony's extensive background includes positions such as Web Services Manager at the Des Plaines Public Library, where evaluation of emerging technologies was key, and Reference Librarian, facilitating event programming and online promotion. Early career roles include library technology and information services positions in various public libraries, alongside experience in non-profit volunteer management. Tony holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Knox College, and an Associate of Arts from Harper College.
