Gareth Tidman

Gareth Tidman is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in print journalism. Currently serving as the Assistant Head of Print for Reach plc's North West Print Production Unit since September 2020, Gareth oversees the region's weekly titles. Previously, Gareth held the position of Editor at Trinity Mirror Group PLC from 2008 to October 2022, earning multiple awards for editorial excellence across three newspapers and websites, including the Manchester Evening News. Earlier roles include Deputy Editor at MEN Media, where accolades included the title of Best Free Newspaper in the North of England, and Political Correspondent/Rota News Editor at Newsquest. Gareth holds a BA(Hons) in Social Science (Politics) from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
