Rob Ashton has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Rob started their career at Citroën as a Sales Controller in 2001, before moving on to MEN Media, Guardian Media Group as a Key Account Manager in 2005. In 2006, they worked as a Broadcast Sales Executive at Channel M Television. Rob then returned to MEN Media, Trinity Mirror PLC in 2007 as the Group Head of Display Advertising, where they were responsible for a team of 15 Field sales account managers and Account Directors. During their time there, they delivered multi-channel advertising solutions across various platforms, including print, mobile, and online. Rob Ashton currently works as an Area Sales Director at Reach plc since September 2020.
Rob Ashton attended Salford College from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a National Diploma in Sports Science with a field of study in BTEC Sport Science. Prior to this, they attended St Georges RC High School, but no further details about their education at this institution were provided.
