Shawn McGinley

Shawn McGinley has extensive experience in the scientific field, currently serving as Lab Manager and Research Scientist II in the Cell Assay Group at Reaction Biology since October 2018. Prior roles at Reaction Biology included Research Scientist I and Research Associate III. McGinley's previous experience includes a position as Research and Development Team Leader at 1215 Molecular Diagnostics and Research Assistant in the Nanobiotechnology Research Group at the University of New Haven, where an advanced degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology was attained. McGinley holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from York College of Pennsylvania. Early career roles involved customer service and technical support at Kohl's Department Stores and YCP Information Technology, as well as assistant and support roles in a funeral home and baseball club.
