Jake Plattner

Jake Plattner has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jake currently serves as the SVP and Head of Chemistry at Reactive Biosciences. Prior to this role, they were the Sr. Vice President of Research at Anacor Pharmaceuticals from 2004 to 2015. From 1998 to 2004, they held the position of VP of Small Molecule Discovery Research at Chiron Corporation. Before that, from 1977 to 1998, they worked at Abbott Labs (now AbbVie) as the Divisional VP of Anti-Infective Research. Jake'searly career began at Pfizer, where they worked as a Senior Research Chemist from 1972 to 1977.
