Brad Bicknell

Brad Bicknell has worked in the software engineering field since 2006. Brad began their career as the Owner of mademedia llc in 2006. In 2009, they became a Software Developer Intern at Trakstar (Promantek Inc), where they initially developed and maintained features for the Java web application, before moving to Ruby on Rails development for new applications. In 2011, they took on the role of Lead Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Placed, where they worked on Rails and Android development centered around location analytics, as well as Big data analysis utilizing AWS Elastic MapReduce. In the same year, they also served as an Undergrad Research Assistant at the University of Washington, where they created a video survey android application. In 2017, they were promoted to Manager, Software Engineering at Snap Inc. In 2019, they became Director, Engineering and Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Foursquare. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Read AI.

Brad Bicknell graduated from the University of Washington in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
